Hello

{judy} Good morning! I was recently asked about pattern mixing with designer papers, so today I am sharing this sweet little, mailable card, showing four different patterns. Paper companies make it so easy to mix and match, using papers from the same paper pack. These are from The {Stamps} of Life, as is my sentiment stamp. There are elements of each of the same shades of colors, which makes for a fun, eye-catching card.

I "tied" it all together with some of my favorite Cotton Candy Baker's Twine, but still kept it flat for easy mailing! As always, I use Scor-Tape to hold my layers together. That's it for me today! Be sure to come play along in our "Anything Goes" Challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

I Love Fall All Occasion Greeting Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Kathy here with a super cute and colorful fall themed card.

i just love these warm, vibrant fall colors!  I found this random fall paper (I have no idea where it came from) while organizing my fall paper stash.  It was such a perfect match for the Autumn Harvest Ribbon Club Assortment that I immediately decided to use it.  I had just one sheet, but that was all I needed to make this 5" x 7" top fold card.

I love to use ribbon or trim to create borders on a card.  For this card, I created a belly band with Random Autumn Leaves on Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon, 3/8" Tangerine Satin with a grosgrain edge, and 3/8" Autumn Bold Vertical Stripes Ribbon.  I used the stripey ribbon as a header on my card, and crochet lace as a footer.  These ribbons add texture, pattern and dimension to the card design.

The bow cluster is made with crisp, vibrant Tangerine Taffeta Ribbon, more of the Random Autumn Leaves and Natural Burlap String.  Honestly, I don't know how I would craft without Natural Burlap String!  I use it and its best buddy Ivory Burlap String all the time!

The flowers on this card are WOC Mixed Earth Tone Chrysanthemums.  They  make me think of the fall mums that line everyone's steps during the fall.  I love them!

I decorated the inside of the card with the rest of this cute paper, then added a few embellies and a pocket.

This pumpkin cookie recipe is a fall favorite at our house...and what could go better with cookies and a hot cup of tea!  YUM!

I hope I've shared some ideas that you can use in your own crafty adventures!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cheerio,

kathy

Cute Critter Cards with Plaid Ribbons

Hi friends! Linsey here today sharing two cute greeting cards I made and they feature some of my favorite gingham/plaid ribbons from RRR!
I just love gingham and plaid ribbons of all kinds and sizes! They always seem to coordinate perfectly with any card or creation I make and they are so easy to tie into a pretty bow with having to fuss with the direction the ribbon is in, etc. For these 2 cards, I chose Plaid Black Ribbon and the new Plaid Sherry/Ivory Ribbon. I also challenged myself to use some embellishments from my stash that I tend forget about, which in this case were a couple big buttons tied with Burlap Natural String and different colored sequins. I had fun and I hope you have fun looking!
And that's all for me! Thanks so much for buzzing by today! Happy crafting!!

Thanks Card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to all!
Today I have a super simple card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful taffeta ribbon , netting and embellishments. On my card I made a big white bow using RRR Taffeta ribbon, and love the way it looks. I tried to keep my card simple which is always hard for me to do...hehehehe

My card consist of two layers from the Delft Collection. I did the bottom layer in leftover design paper, then added some of Really Reasonable Ribbons White Netting in 1.5" before adding the sentiment layer. For my sentiment layer I stamped the Delft Stamps and colored, then used Really Reasonable Ribbons 3-D Foam tabs to pop it up. Next I added the white bow and lastly I added some of the RRR Resin flower embellishments.

Super fast and easy card to make when you need a last minute thank you!
Hope you enjoyed my post for today!
Thank you for looking and have a lovely week.

hugs to all,
Cheryl

Friends Mini Album with the July Ribbon Club Assortment

Hi friends.  I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Mini Albums and Monthly Ribbon Club Assortments from Really Reasonable Ribbon are PERFECT together!!
There is nothing better than having a coordinating pack of ribbon sitting right on your desk ready to go for your project, and mini albums look great with a variety of coordinating ribbons as an embellishment.

Not  a member yet??
Our special this month for customers with US addresses is to start with this combo pack for a special low price.
The July assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon and the August assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 17 yards of ribbon and trim.  Each monthly assortment is a color, seasonal or holiday themed collection of coordinating ribbons.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.

Each of my pages has a pull out landscape oriented photo mat topped with pretty ribbon with space for another photo or journaling on the back and also a pull out tag with a ribbon tie.

Each page also folds out for more photos and the second and fourth pages have an additional fold out which is secured by a magnet with the round embellishment over it.

Each page will hold a minimum of  8 to 10 photos and there are five pages, so that's a LOT of photos.  While I did use design paper do decorate my album along with some pretty paper I made with Distress Inks, I left it so that the photos are the main attraction once they have been added.  I feel like the photos should be the main focus, with the design papers and embellishments enhancing them, not overpowering them.
My mini album was topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using two of the 5/8" ribbon styles from the July Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I also added some Antique Gold Netting Ribbon over 1-1/2" wide Regal Purple Double-Faced Satin Ribbon which was then topped with 5/8" Gold Glitz Ribbon along the spine.  I added that layer of ribbon to the spine to accent the gold in the decorative paper that I selected for the album cover.

For a video tutorial on how to create this pretty bi-color bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on other items used on my mini album, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.

I hope you will let your next Ribbon Club Assortment inspire a creative mini album.  Happy crafting.

Retro Cherry Pie Greeting Card

Hey there Peeps! Well it's no secret that I love all things retro and vintage. This card is created with fun and whimsical patterned papers and image paired with perfectly coordinating ribbons from RRR.
There is so much retro happening here!!!!! Aqua and red are a classic combination.
These ribbons are a match made in heaven for this iconic image.  A little tip when selecting sheer ribbon....this adorable ribbon with cherries was totally washed out when layered over the burlap so I just added it over a nice clean white so the cherries are crisp and really pop.
As with the ribbon...this focal image was a bit lost on the busy patterned papers so I just layered it over a doily die cut in white and now it's really the star of the card.
Since I was on a roll with the cherries...I added it to the inside of the card as well.

Loads of pretty flowers, buttons, clips, pins and silver metal charms work so well with the theme so I added them all!!!!

Really Reasonable Ribbon~ Natural Burlap with Wired Edge Light Blue, Sheer Cherry Red, Burlap String Red.

Okay that's all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Sweet Girl Cards

Hello to all of our ribbon-loving friends, and welcome by today!  It's Karen Letchworth sharing today, and I have two sweet cards that I created for two very special little girls in my life.  I'm sure you all have a special little girl who would love to get an unexpected card in the mail, so I'll share with you how I created these cards using some of my favorite Really Reasonable Ribbon products.
Both of my cards were created using Echo Park patterned papers.  I glued everything into place using lots of fabulous Scor-Tape.  This is an amazing Adhesive that holds things together SO well, and can be used on pretty much everything.  It also comes in several useful widths, so you can find the perfect size Scor-Tape for every project.
The first trim I added was a width of Burlap Center-Stitch Green.  I can't tell you how much I love this trim.  It comes in several fabulous colors, and I use it all the time.  I attached that with a piece of 1/2" Score-Tape.  Yup, I really do it on EVERYTHING!  And you will love it, too.
You will also see that I made a little ribbon decor on this card (above) by cutting and folding a few trims together.  This little bundle includes a piece of the Burlap Center Stitch Green, as well as a snippet of Light Pink Gingham Ribbon, Brown Plaid Ribbon, and 1/8" Diagonal Stripe Parrot Green. Once I placed those on my card, I topped them with some Baker's Twine (a bow of Cotton Candy Baker's Twine and Solid Green Baker's Twine), two Two-Toned Green and White Mulberry Leaves,  two Pink Open End Roses, and one Two-Toned Chocolate Brown Open End Rose.  And....let's not forget to mention that adorable little Embellishment...the 11mm White Heart-Shaped Flatback Imitation Pearl Accent.  SO CUTE!
The second card is similar as it uses the same patterned paper collection, and is also held together with Scor-Tape (pretty much everywhere).  I added half a tea-stained doily, inked everything, and then I got busy decorating with my Really Reasonable Ribbon goodies.
This card was embellished using some gorgeous Seam Binding including the lovely Paradise Aqua Seam Binding and Baby Pink Seam Binding.  The bow also includes a piece of Burlap Center Stitch Brown,  and is topped with two 35mm Brown Mulberry Leaves, one Pink Cottage Rose, and two Chocolate Brown Open End Roses.  Really Reasonable Ribbon carries so many fabulous ribbons and trims, but they also have (literally) EVERY color flower to match ANY project you're working on.  They truly have it ALL!  We'd LOVE to have you play along in our CURRENT CHALLENGE, too.  We hope you will stop by soon and often!

Blessings,
